AFFAMATO (3) and ROCKY ROCKS (4) look the two most progressive runners in the field and will be looking to stamp their authority before likely progressing to the Tasmanian Derby in two week’s time. Both also utilise junior drivers to gain entry into this race. SHADES OF SILK (1) rises in class but possesses good gate speed and could give a cheeky sight over the mile, although he may be better suited taking a trail on this occasion. DIDYALOUSAROOSTA (2) should enjoy a lovely run on speed and could be the value runner if the favourites overdo things in the early stages. It would be a surprise if the winner did not come from those leading chances. AFFAMATO (3) and ROCKY ROCKS (4) look the two most progressive runners in the field and will be looking to stamp their authority before likely progressing to the Tasmanian Derby in two week’s time. Both also utilise junior drivers to gain entry into this race. SHADES OF SILK (1) rises in class but possesses good gate speed and could give a cheeky sight over the mile, although he may be better suited taking a trail on this occasion. DIDYALOUSAROOSTA (2) should enjoy a lovely run on speed and could be the value runner if the favourites overdo things in the early stages. It would be a surprise if the winner did not come from those leading chances.
