Race comment
An even and interesting mile contest brings together a mix of somewhat seasoned campaigners on the front row and progressive three-year-olds drawn on the back row. IDEN OLIVER (1) is expected to be driven aggressively in an attempt to hold the lead from LIKEABLE ROGUE (3), who has shown good gate speed in recent starts, while LADY IN LINE (2), chasing a hat-trick of victories, also possesses enough early speed to make her presence felt. That should ensure a genuine tempo, bringing the three-year-olds into the race from their favourable trailing draws. SOHO TIGER LILY (8) has been in excellent form since arriving in Tasmania and will only need the right luck in running from the inside of the back row to be in the finish. QUALIFY (9) and A DRAGON FOR JOE (10) have both been racing consistently in No More Than Two Wins company and should be running on strongly late. IFYOULOVEMELETMEGO (12) has won both starts since arriving in the state in impressive fashion, although she faces a much tougher assignment from the outside of the back row over the mile and will require genuine tempo to bring her into the race. An even and interesting mile contest brings together a mix of somewhat seasoned campaigners on the front row and progressive three-year-olds drawn on the back row. IDEN OLIVER (1) is expected to be driven aggressively in an attempt to hold the lead from LIKEABLE ROGUE (3), who has shown good gate speed in recent starts, while LADY IN LINE (2), chasing a hat-trick of victories, also possesses enough early speed to make her presence felt. That should ensure a genuine tempo, bringing the three-year-olds into the race from their favourable trailing draws. SOHO TIGER LILY (8) has been in excellent form since arriving in Tasmania and will only need the right luck in running from the inside of the back row to be in the finish. QUALIFY (9) and A DRAGON FOR JOE (10) have both been racing consistently in No More Than Two Wins company and should be running on strongly late. Race comment
An even and interesting mile contest brings together a mix of somewhat seasoned campaigners on the front row and progressive three-year-olds drawn on the back row. IDEN OLIVER (1) is expected to be driven aggressively in an attempt to hold the lead from LIKEABLE ROGUE (3), who has shown good gate speed in recent starts, while LADY IN LINE (2), chasing a hat-trick of victories, also possesses enough early speed to make her presence felt. That should ensure a genuine tempo, bringing the three-year-olds into the race from their favourable trailing draws. SOHO TIGER LILY (8) has been in excellent form since arriving in Tasmania and will only need the right luck in running from the inside of the back row to be in the finish. QUALIFY (9) and A DRAGON FOR JOE (10) have both been racing consistently in No More Than Two Wins company and should be running on strongly late. IFYOULOVEMELETMEGO (12) has won both starts since arriving in the state in impressive fashion, although she faces a much tougher assignment from the outside of the back row over the mile and will require genuine tempo to bring her into the race.
