Another fast-run mile looks in store, where MUZZAME MATE (1) has found his best form with consecutive victories before breaking last start when looking set to finish at second in open-class company. He may come under early pressure from the sharp beginner MISTA EAGLE (3), who has been hit and miss in his form of late. GO THE RED (8) has been a terrific acquisition for his connections since arriving from Queensland and again secures an ideal trailing draw behind the likely favourite. With clear running in the home straight, he should be right in the finish. ANOTHER NIEN (9) and MCMAYHEM (10) will both be charging home strongly if the expected genuine tempo eventuates up front, and both possess the class to win if the race is run to suit. Wouldn’t surprise to see any runner bob up to win in this field, including LOU BAY (7) who arrives strikes the outside front row gate. He may come under early pressure from the sharp beginner MISTA EAGLE (3), who has been hit and miss in his form of late. GO THE RED (8) has been a terrific acquisition for his connections since arriving from Queensland and again secures an ideal trailing draw behind the likely favourite. With clear running in the home straight, he should be right in the finish. Race comment
Another fast-run mile looks in store, where MUZZAME MATE (1) has found his best form with consecutive victories before breaking last start when looking set to finish at second in open-class company. He may come under early pressure from the sharp beginner MISTA EAGLE (3), who has been hit and miss in his form of late. GO THE RED (8) has been a terrific acquisition for his connections since arriving from Queensland and again secures an ideal trailing draw behind the likely favourite. With clear running in the home straight, he should be right in the finish. ANOTHER NIEN (9) and MCMAYHEM (10) will both be charging home strongly if the expected genuine tempo eventuates up front, and both possess the class to win if the race is run to suit. Wouldn’t surprise to see any runner bob up to win in this field, including LOU BAY (7) who arrives strikes the outside front row gate.
