The Group 2 Granny Smith for the 4 year old Tasbred mares brings together a quality field, where BARBARY TALES (6) is expected to start at short odds after again drawing favourably on the front row. She was able to work forward comfortably before finding the front in her heat and then sprinted home with a sharp final quarter. While similar tactics are expected here, she is unlikely to find the lead quite as cheaply, which could open the race up for some of her rivals. THE BRIDE (12) and CARMEN EMJAY (13) appear the next best mares on ability, although both have drawn on the outside of the back row, making their tasks much harder. Nevertheless, their class should see them charging home and finishing prominently. The Tammy Langley-trained trio of ITSMENOTU (10) and ANGEL ROCKS (11) both ran excellent races in their respective heats and, despite also drawing the back row, look the most likely runners to fill the placings behind the favourites. SMOOTH REASON (3) was a little disappointing last start after an impressive win the run prior, but at her best she is capable of earning a cheque from her favourable draw. The Group 2 Granny Smith for the 4 year old Tasbred mares brings together a quality field, where BARBARY TALES (6) is expected to start at short odds after again drawing favourably on the front row. She was able to work forward comfortably before finding the front in her heat and then sprinted home with a sharp final quarter. While similar tactics are expected here, she is unlikely to find the lead quite as cheaply, which could open the race up for some of her rivals. THE BRIDE (12) and CARMEN EMJAY (13) appear the next best mares on ability, although both have drawn on the outside of the back row, making their tasks much harder. Nevertheless, their class should see them charging home and finishing prominently. The Tammy Langley-trained trio of ITSMENOTU (10) and ANGEL ROCKS (11) both ran excellent races in their respective heats and, despite also drawing the back row, look the most likely runners to fill the placings behind the favourites. The Group 2 Granny Smith for the 4 year old Tasbred mares brings together a quality field, where BARBARY TALES (6) is expected to start at short odds after again drawing favourably on the front row. She was able to work forward comfortably before finding the front in her heat and then sprinted home with a sharp final quarter. While similar tactics are expected here, she is unlikely to find the lead quite as cheaply, which could open the race up for some of her rivals. THE BRIDE (12) and CARMEN EMJAY (13) appear the next best mares on ability, although both have drawn on the outside of the back row, making their tasks much harder. Nevertheless, their class should see them charging home and finishing prominently. The Tammy Langley-trained trio of ITSMENOTU (10) and ANGEL ROCKS (11) both ran excellent races in their respective heats and, despite also drawing the back row, look the most likely runners to fill the placings behind the favourites. SMOOTH REASON (3) was a little disappointing last start after an impressive win the run prior, but at her best she is capable of earning a cheque from her favourable draw. The Group 2 Granny Smith for the 4 year old Tasbred mares brings together a quality field, where BARBARY TALES (6) is expected to start at short odds after again drawing favourably on the front row. She was able to work forward comfortably before finding the front in her heat and then sprinted home with a sharp final quarter. While similar tactics are expected here, she is unlikely to find the lead quite as cheaply, which could open the race up for some of her rivals. THE BRIDE (12) and CARMEN EMJAY (13) appear the next best mares on ability, although both have drawn on the outside of the back row, making their tasks much harder. Nevertheless, their class should see them charging home and finishing prominently. The Tammy Langley-trained trio of ITSMENOTU (10) and ANGEL ROCKS (11) both ran excellent races in their respective heats and, despite also drawing the back row, look the most likely runners to fill the placings behind the favourites. SMOOTH REASON (3) was a little disappointing last start after an impressive win the run prior, but at her best she is capable of earning a cheque from her favourable draw.
