A full field assembles for an extremely strong 64–75 class event, with many of the runners bringing some winning form into the race. ATOMIC BLACK (1) will be attempting another all-the-way victory and should not encounter as much mid-race pressure as he did last start, which would enhance his chances. The Steve Davis-trained pair ROCKY STRIDE (2) and KOSTYUK LEIS (3) have both been racing well, even when not winning, and will be looking to take advantage of their favourable front row draws to settle on speed with cover. GO THE RED (8) put together two impressive victories on Friday and Sunday after arriving in the state for Team Yole and should enjoy a nice run in transit following the expected leader. He will only need the gaps to appear to be right in the finish. ONEHANDONEBOUNCE (9) is chasing four consecutive victories and although this represents another rise in class, his closing sectionals in those wins have been outstanding and suggest he can again be highly competitive. It would not surprise to see any of these runners salute, particularly the former smart juvenile HAZEWILLREV (4), who may find himself outside the leader controlling the tempo, a position that would suit if he brought his best form.Selections: ATOMIC BLACK (1), ONEHANDONEBOUNCE (9), GO THE RED (8), ROCKY STRIDE (2)

ATOMIC BLACK (1) will be attempting another all-the-way victory and should not encounter as much mid-race pressure as he did last start, which would enhance his chances. The Steve Davis-trained pair ROCKY STRIDE (2) and KOSTYUK LEIS (3) have both been racing well, even when not winning, and will be looking to take advantage of their favourable front row draws to settle on speed with cover. GO THE RED (8) put together two impressive victories on Friday and Sunday after arriving in the state for Team Yole and should enjoy a nice run in transit following the expected leader. He will only need the gaps to appear to be right in the finish. ONEHANDONEBOUNCE (9) is chasing four consecutive victories and although this represents another rise in class, his closing sectionals in those wins have been outstanding and suggest he can again be highly competitive. Race comment
A full field assembles for an extremely strong 64–75 class event, with many of the runners bringing some winning form into the race. ATOMIC BLACK (1) will be attempting another all-the-way victory and should not encounter as much mid-race pressure as he did last start, which would enhance his chances. The Steve Davis-trained pair ROCKY STRIDE (2) and KOSTYUK LEIS (3) have both been racing well, even when not winning, and will be looking to take advantage of their favourable front row draws to settle on speed with cover. GO THE RED (8) put together two impressive victories on Friday and Sunday after arriving in the state for Team Yole and should enjoy a nice run in transit following the expected leader. He will only need the gaps to appear to be right in the finish. ONEHANDONEBOUNCE (9) is chasing four consecutive victories and although this represents another rise in class, his closing sectionals in those wins have been outstanding and suggest he can again be highly competitive.
