OVERVIEW: MAJOR MANBAR (3) was confidently supported and produced a top performance to win in a career best mile rate of 1.53.3 last week. He was allowed to settle early, pushed forward to race without cover at the 1200m and hit the front at the 400m. He has been placed in all of his six starts since resuming and is a winning chance again. KANENA PROVLIMA (5) is a former New South Wales trained pacer, which joins trainer David Miles. She made her Melton debut last week and fought on gallantly after beginning quickly and being left stranded without cover in quick time. She won the Junee Cup prior and she should be competitive again. TYPHOON STRIDE (1) settled four back on the outside and made a mid-race move to race without cover from the 900m when he took out the Rising Stars at Melton last week. This is a rise in class but he is drawn to go well again. ROLLOVA (4) produced two big performances over the extremely short trip of 1200m during the Mercury80 series. He is stepping up to the middle distance now but he is racing too well to dismiss. JOE NIEN (6) finished fourth in a stronger race last week and is not without a chance. OVERVIEW: MAJOR MANBAR (3) was confidently supported and produced a top performance to win in a career best mile rate of 1.53.3 last week. He was allowed to settle early, pushed forward to race without cover at the 1200m and hit the front at the 400m. He has been placed in all of his six starts since resuming and is a winning chance again. KANENA PROVLIMA (5) is a former New South Wales trained pacer, which joins trainer David Miles. She made her Melton debut last week and fought on gallantly after beginning quickly and being left stranded without cover in quick time. She won the Junee Cup prior and she should be competitive again. TYPHOON STRIDE (1) settled four back on the outside and made a mid-race move to race without cover from the 900m when he took out the Rising Stars at Melton last week. This is a rise in class but he is drawn to go well again. ROLLOVA (4) produced two big performances over the extremely short trip of 1200m during the Mercury80 series. He is stepping up to the middle distance now but he is racing too well to dismiss. JOE NIEN (6) finished fourth in a stronger race last week and is not without a chance.
