OVERVIEW: REACTOR NOW (6) gets his chance to bounce back into form against this line up. He chased the champion pacer Lochinvar Art in both the Super Series Final and the Shepparton Cup then galloped away and lost his chance in the Casey Classic. EUREKA (1) hasn’t raced since a fourth at Melton in November but he is a brilliant front runner when racing at his peak form. He led throughout and recorded a mile rate of 1.52.1 when he took out the Regional Challenge in July. He has only been defeated once over the sprint distance and he is drawn to be in front for a long way. ALPINE STRIDE (4) had a decent crack for the lead and worked hard in a fast lead time so he had excuses in the Casey Classic. He finished a close up third behind the classy 4yo pacers Perfect Stride and Pacifico Dream prior so he must be respected. UNCLE JORD (3) dashed home from a nice trailing position to win at Shepparton on January 16 and is a place hope. OVERVIEW: REACTOR NOW (6) gets his chance to bounce back into form against this line up. He chased the champion pacer Lochinvar Art in both the Super Series Final and the Shepparton Cup then galloped away and lost his chance in the Casey Classic. EUREKA (1) hasn’t raced since a fourth at Melton in November but he is a brilliant front runner when racing at his peak form. He led throughout and recorded a mile rate of 1.52.1 when he took out the Regional Challenge in July. He has only been defeated once over the sprint distance and he is drawn to be in front for a long way. ALPINE STRIDE (4) had a decent crack for the lead and worked hard in a fast lead time so he had excuses in the Casey Classic. He finished a close up third behind the classy 4yo pacers Perfect Stride and Pacifico Dream prior so he must be respected. UNCLE JORD (3) dashed home from a nice trailing position to win at Shepparton on January 16 and is a place hope.
