OVERVIEW: JILLIBY SELWOOD (9) remains undefeated from four starts and has a great tenacity to get to the line. He made a mid-race move, dropped in behind CAN’T TOP THIS (10) to have a breather before the home turn and used the sprint lane to fire through and win the Tontine Championship at Horsham. It is not often a horse boasting only four career starts competes at Metropolitan level but JILLIBY SELWOOD (9) is very classy. BOY FROM BONDI (6) is stepping up in class but he has been very impressive since returning from a break. He settled midfield, made a mid-race move to get up without cover from the 1600m and was able to produce a slick final 800m of 56.6 seconds to win at Shepparton last outing. CAN’T TOP THIS (10) couldn’t lead initially but was driven aggressively to circle into the front running role when a brave second in the Tontine Championship ($1-70 fav). He didn’t have much luck when sixth in the Super Series Final prior and he should be competitive against this line up. MAJOR MEISTER (11) broke at the 1300m and lost his chance when unplaced in the 4yo Bonanza last week. He is a smart 4yo pacer and is a chance against this line up. SHADY AZZ (12) settled at the back of the park from a similar draw and came out three horses wide from the 1200m when a brave third in the Tontine Championship so he is capable of figuring in the finish. The New South Wales trained pacer ROCKY CREED (2) will probably try and lead throughout from his good draw but BLISSFULL STRIDE (1) does possess early speed on his inside. OVERVIEW: JILLIBY SELWOOD (9) remains undefeated from four starts and has a great tenacity to get to the line. He made a mid-race move, dropped in behind CAN’T TOP THIS (10) to have a breather before the home turn and used the sprint lane to fire through and win the Tontine Championship at Horsham. It is not often a horse boasting only four career starts competes at Metropolitan level but JILLIBY SELWOOD (9) is very classy. BOY FROM BONDI (6) is stepping up in class but he has been very impressive since returning from a break. He settled midfield, made a mid-race move to get up without cover from the 1600m and was able to produce a slick final 800m of 56.6 seconds to win at Shepparton last outing. CAN’T TOP THIS (10) couldn’t lead initially but was driven aggressively to circle into the front running role when a brave second in the Tontine Championship ($1-70 fav). He didn’t have much luck when sixth in the Super Series Final prior and he should be competitive against this line up. MAJOR MEISTER (11) broke at the 1300m and lost his chance when unplaced in the 4yo Bonanza last week. He is a smart 4yo pacer and is a chance against this line up. SHADY AZZ (12) settled at the back of the park from a similar draw and came out three horses wide from the 1200m when a brave third in the Tontine Championship so he is capable of figuring in the finish. The New South Wales trained pacer ROCKY CREED (2) will probably try and lead throughout from his good draw but BLISSFULL STRIDE (1) does possess early speed on his inside. He made a mid-race move, dropped in behind CAN’T TOP THIS (10) to have a breather before the home turn and used the sprint lane to fire through and win the Tontine Championship at Horsham. OVERVIEW: JILLIBY SELWOOD (9) remains undefeated from four starts and has a great tenacity to get to the line. He made a mid-race move, dropped in behind CAN’T TOP THIS (10) to have a breather before the home turn and used the sprint lane to fire through and win the Tontine Championship at Horsham. It is not often a horse boasting only four career starts competes at Metropolitan level but JILLIBY SELWOOD (9) is very classy. BOY FROM BONDI (6) is stepping up in class but he has been very impressive since returning from a break. He settled midfield, made a mid-race move to get up without cover from the 1600m and was able to produce a slick final 800m of 56.6 seconds to win at Shepparton last outing. CAN’T TOP THIS (10) couldn’t lead initially but was driven aggressively to circle into the front running role when a brave second in the Tontine Championship ($1-70 fav). He didn’t have much luck when sixth in the Super Series Final prior and he should be competitive against this line up. MAJOR MEISTER (11) broke at the 1300m and lost his chance when unplaced in the 4yo Bonanza last week. He is a smart 4yo pacer and is a chance against this line up. SHADY AZZ (12) settled at the back of the park from a similar draw and came out three horses wide from the 1200m when a brave third in the Tontine Championship so he is capable of figuring in the finish. The New South Wales trained pacer ROCKY CREED (2) will probably try and lead throughout from his good draw but BLISSFULL STRIDE (1) does possess early speed on his inside.
