BONCEL BENJAMIN (4) was driven aggressively in both the heat and the Final of the Mercury80 series but he is stepping up in distance for this assignment. The scratching of Forty Thieves is a big advantage to him as he might be able to get across to the markers shortly after the start. OVERVIEW: AMPLE POWER (5) was slow away and settled in last position before peeling out four horses wide at the 400m when second (20m) behind Struve at his latest appearance. He has recorded a quick mile rate in two trial victories since that performance and he is sure to make his presence felt. GLENAVRIL KING (2) is stepping up in class on his past two victories but he will be aiming to find the back of the leader shortly after the start and he does possess a handy finishing burst. BONCEL BENJAMIN (4) was driven aggressively in both the heat and the Final of the Mercury80 series but he is stepping up in distance for this assignment. The scratching of Forty Thieves is a big advantage to him as he might be able to get across to the markers shortly after the start. WATCH PULP FICTION (6) was beaten by a long margin first up in Victoria but his Queensland form suggests he is capable of better.
