OVERVIEW: PINNACLE HOPE (8) settled four back on the markers and stormed home late when a big third behind Jimmy Reactor last week. He is drawn to trail the likely leader in ARMA VEYRON (1) so he will take holding out via the sprint lane. ARMA VEYRON (1) led throughout at a Mildura victory on June 11. She led out then took a trail at the 1700m when fourth behind Markleigh Jean last week and should run her usual honest race. LIZZADRO (4) was resuming since December when a strong third at Ballarat where he was very wide early and pushed forward to race without cover at the 1300m. He should be fitter from that run and is one of the leading chances again. GLENS OF TEKOA (6) settled three back on the markers and gained a clear passage on the home turn when a handy finishing second (neck) behind Vallani Magic at Cranbourne. He is versatile and looms as one of the leading chances again. ELENNA (5) hasn’t been seen publicly since a victory at Shepparton in April and must be kept safe. OVERVIEW: PINNACLE HOPE (8) settled four back on the markers and stormed home late when a big third behind Jimmy Reactor last week. He is drawn to trail the likely leader in ARMA VEYRON (1) so he will take holding out via the sprint lane. ARMA VEYRON (1) led throughout at a Mildura victory on June 11. She led out then took a trail at the 1700m when fourth behind Markleigh Jean last week and should run her usual honest race. LIZZADRO (4) was resuming since December when a strong third at Ballarat where he was very wide early and pushed forward to race without cover at the 1300m. He should be fitter from that run and is one of the leading chances again. GLENS OF TEKOA (6) settled three back on the markers and gained a clear passage on the home turn when a handy finishing second (neck) behind Vallani Magic at Cranbourne. He is versatile and looms as one of the leading chances again. ELENNA (5) hasn’t been seen publicly since a victory at Shepparton in April and must be kept safe.
