He commenced from the inside of the second line, got shuffled to four back on the markers and had no clear run when seventh (14m) behind Bonnie Belle in a strong race at Bendigo last outing. OCEANIQUE (2) began quickly and was without cover early, pressured the leader before finding the top at the 1700m and boxed on bravely for a close second at Warragul. She led throughout at Yarra Valley prior and she will give another forward showing from the good draw. SPENCER (11) broke stride in the score up, missed away by approximately 15m and settled five back on the markers before finishing stylishly for an unlucky fourth at Shepparton last week. He will need luck from the poor draw but he is racing too well to dismiss. SAFE JEWELS (6) will appreciate a drop back in class from her recent performances and is capable of improving on her numerical form. She was without cover early then found a one out and one back trail from the 1600m when fourth behind the smart mare Nikki Louise at Bendigo last outing. OVERVIEW: MEA CULPA (4) will appreciate a drop back in class for this assignment with the aid of a concession claim and should give a forward showing. He commenced from the inside of the second line, got shuffled to four back on the markers and had no clear run when seventh (14m) behind Bonnie Belle in a strong race at Bendigo last outing. OCEANIQUE (2) began quickly and was without cover early, pressured the leader before finding the top at the 1700m and boxed on bravely for a close second at Warragul. She led throughout at Yarra Valley prior and she will give another forward showing from the good draw. SPENCER (11) broke stride in the score up, missed away by approximately 15m and settled five back on the markers before finishing stylishly for an unlucky fourth at Shepparton last week. He will need luck from the poor draw but he is racing too well to dismiss. SAFE JEWELS (6) will appreciate a drop back in class from her recent performances and is capable of improving on her numerical form.
