He worked home nicely when third at Methven three starts ago and he strikes a suitable assignment for his Australian debut. MADAM REACTOR (6) finished fast and missed out narrowly when second at Echuca then followed with a fourth at Bendigo. She is a speedy mare and has returned from a spell in handy form. FANNING (7) has returned from a spell in peak form and followed a second at Bendigo where he was held up for a run at a vital stage with a strong third behind Tropical Storm. He is poorly drawn again but he is nearing a win. HIGH FLUX (8) is likely to be shuffled back on the markers from the inside of the second line but he is racing at his peak form and should be running home well. He worked home nicely when third at Methven three starts ago and he strikes a suitable assignment for his Australian debut. MADAM REACTOR (6) finished fast and missed out narrowly when second at Echuca then followed with a fourth at Bendigo. She is a speedy mare and has returned from a spell in handy form. FANNING (7) has returned from a spell in peak form and followed a second at Bendigo where he was held up for a run at a vital stage with a strong third behind Tropical Storm. He is poorly drawn again but he is nearing a win. Race comment
OVERVIEW: KHAKI NUI (5) is a former New Zealand pacer, which joins trainer Julie Douglas. He worked home nicely when third at Methven three starts ago and he strikes a suitable assignment for his Australian debut. MADAM REACTOR (6) finished fast and missed out narrowly when second at Echuca then followed with a fourth at Bendigo. She is a speedy mare and has returned from a spell in handy form. FANNING (7) has returned from a spell in peak form and followed a second at Bendigo where he was held up for a run at a vital stage with a strong third behind Tropical Storm. He is poorly drawn again but he is nearing a win. HIGH FLUX (8) is likely to be shuffled back on the markers from the inside of the second line but he is racing at his peak form and should be running home well. PRESIDENTSLASTLADY (11) has been placed in all of her three starts at Shepparton to date and she should be competitive again but she will be giving the leaders a big start. LUCKIE (2) was successful after leading throughout five starts ago and is a good chance of finding the lead again so he cannot be left out of calculations.
