OVERVIEW: BOY FROM BONDI (9) returned from a spell in career best form with victories at Kilmore and Bendigo. He made a mid-race move to park on the outside of the leader and drew well clear in the straight when he scored by a comfortable margin last week so he should prove hard to beat again. CHANGEOVER GIRL (11) is lightly raced but appears to be very promising. She won on debut then scored again in a heat of the Super Series. She missed the start in a semi-final of that series then had no clear run in the Silver event so she has had no luck at her past two attempts. AZZA (7) is a consistent pacer and should be running home nicely. He was held up for a run at a vital stage and should have finished closer when an unlucky fifth behind Major Delico at Shepparton last week. LARAJAY MACRAY (10) pushed forward to race without cover after being headed off at the start and was able to outstay her rivals at Mildura prior to a fifth at Ballarat. She is a speedy mare and is worth following. HARRY OVENS (4) is a brilliant beginner and should give a forward showing from his good draw on the front line. OVERVIEW: BOY FROM BONDI (9) returned from a spell in career best form with victories at Kilmore and Bendigo. He made a mid-race move to park on the outside of the leader and drew well clear in the straight when he scored by a comfortable margin last week so he should prove hard to beat again. CHANGEOVER GIRL (11) is lightly raced but appears to be very promising. She won on debut then scored again in a heat of the Super Series. She missed the start in a semi-final of that series then had no clear run in the Silver event so she has had no luck at her past two attempts. AZZA (7) is a consistent pacer and should be running home nicely. He was held up for a run at a vital stage and should have finished closer when an unlucky fifth behind Major Delico at Shepparton last week. LARAJAY MACRAY (10) pushed forward to race without cover after being headed off at the start and was able to outstay her rivals at Mildura prior to a fifth at Ballarat. She is a speedy mare and is worth following. HARRY OVENS (4) is a brilliant beginner and should give a forward showing from his good draw on the front line. Race comment
OVERVIEW: BOY FROM BONDI (9) returned from a spell in career best form with victories at Kilmore and Bendigo. He made a mid-race move to park on the outside of the leader and drew well clear in the straight when he scored by a comfortable margin last week so he should prove hard to beat again. CHANGEOVER GIRL (11) is lightly raced but appears to be very promising. She won on debut then scored again in a heat of the Super Series. She missed the start in a semi-final of that series then had no clear run in the Silver event so she has had no luck at her past two attempts. AZZA (7) is a consistent pacer and should be running home nicely. He was held up for a run at a vital stage and should have finished closer when an unlucky fifth behind Major Delico at Shepparton last week. LARAJAY MACRAY (10) pushed forward to race without cover after being headed off at the start and was able to outstay her rivals at Mildura prior to a fifth at Ballarat. She is a speedy mare and is worth following. HARRY OVENS (4) is a brilliant beginner and should give a forward showing from his good draw on the front line. EARLY SPEED: 4 (likely leader), 2,3,6 RATINGS: 9/ 11/ 7,10/ 4/ 1,8
