OVERVIEW: MUMMYS BOY (8) is a former Queensland pacer, which was runner up at his first two local performances prior to a fourth at Cobram last week where he left a trailing position to race without cover from the 1600m and raced fiercely throughout the middle stages. He is awkwardly drawn but he should be competitive if he gains normal luck in running. ORBIE (1) is a fast beginner and has been promising a win for some time. She pushed forward to race without cover shortly after the start and ran a game race for second at Cobram last week. LOTTIE MOON (5) settled five back on the outside, trailed up out three horses wide in the last lap (3-2) and was out very wide on the turn when eighth at Cobram. The slow early pace didn’t suit her last week and she is worth another chance. RECKON IM SMART (7) was also unsuited by a moderate tempo last week. He settled down last and the leaders zipped home the final 400m in 27.2 seconds so he found it difficult to come from the back. His previous form was sound including a win over LOTTIE MOON (5) at Kilmore in December. EARLY SPEED: 1 (possible leader), 3,4,6 RATINGS: 1,8/ 5/ 7,10/ 6/ 4,9

OVERVIEW: MUMMYS BOY (8) is a former Queensland pacer, which was runner up at his first two local performances prior to a fourth at Cobram last week where he left a trailing position to race without cover from the 1600m and raced fiercely throughout the middle stages. He is awkwardly drawn but he should be competitive if he gains normal luck in running. ORBIE (1) is a fast beginner and has been promising a win for some time. She pushed forward to race without cover shortly after the start and ran a game race for second at Cobram last week. LOTTIE MOON (5) settled five back on the outside, trailed up out three horses wide in the last lap (3-2) and was out very wide on the turn when eighth at Cobram. The slow early pace didn’t suit her last week and she is worth another chance. RECKON IM SMART (7) was also unsuited by a moderate tempo last week. He settled down last and the leaders zipped home the final 400m in 27.2 seconds so he found it difficult to come from the back. OVERVIEW: MUMMYS BOY (8) is a former Queensland pacer, which was runner up at his first two local performances prior to a fourth at Cobram last week where he left a trailing position to race without cover from the 1600m and raced fiercely throughout the middle stages. He is awkwardly drawn but he should be competitive if he gains normal luck in running. ORBIE (1) is a fast beginner and has been promising a win for some time. She pushed forward to race without cover shortly after the start and ran a game race for second at Cobram last week. LOTTIE MOON (5) settled five back on the outside, trailed up out three horses wide in the last lap (3-2) and was out very wide on the turn when eighth at Cobram. The slow early pace didn’t suit her last week and she is worth another chance. RECKON IM SMART (7) was also unsuited by a moderate tempo last week. He settled down last and the leaders zipped home the final 400m in 27.2 seconds so he found it difficult to come from the back.
