OVERVIEW: SILVER DOMINO (11) is racing at his peak form and appears to be a good value bet again, despite being drawn on the second line. He led out then took a trail and dashed through along the sprint lane to defeat Let’s Make Tracks (won since) at Kilmore last outing. HIGHCLERE (7) will appreciate a massive drop back in class from his efforts throughout the Super Series. He settled five back on the inside and finished eleventh (18m) in the Silver event last time and he finished fourth behind Soextra in a heat of that series on December 11. MAJOR MAL (10) produced a career best performance at Cranbourne when he pushed through from the second line, raced out three horses wide before gaining the front at the 1100m mark. He then raced well clear in the straight and collected the prize. He is stepping up in distance for this assignment, which is a concern, but he is a winning chance if he is able to repeat his latest performance. TREMBITA (12) began quickly and raced without cover, pressured the leader and dropped in behind with 300m remaining for a breather when he battled on reasonably well for a distant third at Cranbourne. He has been placed at his past four starts against similar opposition and is worth thought again. BRONSKI ROYAL (8) will need luck from the awkward draw but he has been promising a win for some time. OVERVIEW: SILVER DOMINO (11) is racing at his peak form and appears to be a good value bet again, despite being drawn on the second line. He led out then took a trail and dashed through along the sprint lane to defeat Let’s Make Tracks (won since) at Kilmore last outing. HIGHCLERE (7) will appreciate a massive drop back in class from his efforts throughout the Super Series. He settled five back on the inside and finished eleventh (18m) in the Silver event last time and he finished fourth behind Soextra in a heat of that series on December 11. MAJOR MAL (10) produced a career best performance at Cranbourne when he pushed through from the second line, raced out three horses wide before gaining the front at the 1100m mark. He then raced well clear in the straight and collected the prize. He is stepping up in distance for this assignment, which is a concern, but he is a winning chance if he is able to repeat his latest performance. TREMBITA (12) began quickly and raced without cover, pressured the leader and dropped in behind with 300m remaining for a breather when he battled on reasonably well for a distant third at Cranbourne. He has been placed at his past four starts against similar opposition and is worth thought again. BRONSKI ROYAL (8) will need luck from the awkward draw but he has been promising a win for some time. OVERVIEW: SILVER DOMINO (11) is racing at his peak form and appears to be a good value bet again, despite being drawn on the second line. He led out then took a trail and dashed through along the sprint lane to defeat Let’s Make Tracks (won since) at Kilmore last outing. HIGHCLERE (7) will appreciate a massive drop back in class from his efforts throughout the Super Series. He settled five back on the inside and finished eleventh (18m) in the Silver event last time and he finished fourth behind Soextra in a heat of that series on December 11. MAJOR MAL (10) produced a career best performance at Cranbourne when he pushed through from the second line, raced out three horses wide before gaining the front at the 1100m mark. He then raced well clear in the straight and collected the prize. He is stepping up in distance for this assignment, which is a concern, but he is a winning chance if he is able to repeat his latest performance. TREMBITA (12) began quickly and raced without cover, pressured the leader and dropped in behind with 300m remaining for a breather when he battled on reasonably well for a distant third at Cranbourne. He has been placed at his past four starts against similar opposition and is worth thought again. BRONSKI ROYAL (8) will need luck from the awkward draw but he has been promising a win for some time.
