OVERVIEW: I AM MARQUEZ (12) circled around the field and moved up without cover from the 1300m when a brave second behind Dress Sense at Melton last week. He is a strong type and is likely to make a mid-race move again here. CONCEALMENT (13) hasn’t raced to his best form for some time but he does appear to be very well graded in this event with the aid of a concession claim. He settled down last, came out three horses wide at the 800m mark, sprinted quickly down the back straight and held his ground late when seventh (6m) at Maryborough last time. His last run was encouraging and he cannot be discarded. BETTOR ROMANCE (3) settled down in a rearward position from her draw on the second row, circled around the field to race without cover at the 1100m and battled on well for fourth in a heat of the Provincial Cup last outing. She is much better drawn for this assignment and should give a bold showing. ROSARITO MISS (4) was confidently supported and tried to lead throughout when second (head) behind Jenden Strike in the Super Series Bronze event last outing. She possesses early speed and her chances will be enhanced if she finds the markers around the first corner. There are many other chances in a very open race to commence the Quaddie. OVERVIEW: I AM MARQUEZ (12) circled around the field and moved up without cover from the 1300m when a brave second behind Dress Sense at Melton last week. He is a strong type and is likely to make a mid-race move again here. CONCEALMENT (13) hasn’t raced to his best form for some time but he does appear to be very well graded in this event with the aid of a concession claim. He settled down last, came out three horses wide at the 800m mark, sprinted quickly down the back straight and held his ground late when seventh (6m) at Maryborough last time. His last run was encouraging and he cannot be discarded. BETTOR ROMANCE (3) settled down in a rearward position from her draw on the second row, circled around the field to race without cover at the 1100m and battled on well for fourth in a heat of the Provincial Cup last outing. She is much better drawn for this assignment and should give a bold showing. ROSARITO MISS (4) was confidently supported and tried to lead throughout when second (head) behind Jenden Strike in the Super Series Bronze event last outing. She possesses early speed and her chances will be enhanced if she finds the markers around the first corner. There are many other chances in a very open race to commence the Quaddie. OVERVIEW: I AM MARQUEZ (12) circled around the field and moved up without cover from the 1300m when a brave second behind Dress Sense at Melton last week. He is a strong type and is likely to make a mid-race move again here. CONCEALMENT (13) hasn’t raced to his best form for some time but he does appear to be very well graded in this event with the aid of a concession claim. He settled down last, came out three horses wide at the 800m mark, sprinted quickly down the back straight and held his ground late when seventh (6m) at Maryborough last time. His last run was encouraging and he cannot be discarded. BETTOR ROMANCE (3) settled down in a rearward position from her draw on the second row, circled around the field to race without cover at the 1100m and battled on well for fourth in a heat of the Provincial Cup last outing. She is much better drawn for this assignment and should give a bold showing. ROSARITO MISS (4) was confidently supported and tried to lead throughout when second (head) behind Jenden Strike in the Super Series Bronze event last outing. She possesses early speed and her chances will be enhanced if she finds the markers around the first corner. There are many other chances in a very open race to commence the Quaddie.
