MAMMALS REASON (5) is shooting for a hat trick after successive Shepparton victories and this race is no harder. She gained the perfect trip but finished off nicely in a mile rate of 1.57.8 last week. OUR MYSTERY BET (8) settled three back on the markers and kept on grinding away when fifth in a stronger race at Shepparton last week. He raced without cover throughout when he scored at Shepparton prior and should run his usual honest race. IAMAWINGATE (4) and stable mate WINGATE GUY (7) are both racing well enough to figure in the finish.

Race comment
OVERVIEW: TEX GOES BANG (6) pushed to race without cover and proved to be too strong at Cranbourne on July 19. This race is of similar quality and he should give a forward showing. MAMMALS REASON (5) is shooting for a hat trick after successive Shepparton victories and this race is no harder. She gained the perfect trip but finished off nicely in a mile rate of 1.57.8 last week. OUR MYSTERY BET (8) settled three back on the markers and kept on grinding away when fifth in a stronger race at Shepparton last week. He raced without cover throughout when he scored at Shepparton prior and should run his usual honest race. IAMAWINGATE (4) and stable mate WINGATE GUY (7) are both racing well enough to figure in the finish.
