An extremely even affair where CHEYS ANGEL (2) looks set to make full use of the favourable draw and attempt to find the pegs early. She loomed as the winner in a fast mile-rate race last start. A repeat of that effort would make her very hard to beat but does step out to the middle trip here. VICTORY GEORGE (3) has drawn his best barrier since arriving in Tasmania and gets a great opportunity to improve. SWEET DIXIE (5) resumes from a short break and may be driven aggressively in an attempt to find the front, which would give her the best chance of bouncing back. IDEN OLIVER (8) was crossed from the pole last start before struggling for clear running and flashing home late for third. With even a touch of luck in transit, he looks capable of figuring in the finish. Race comment
An extremely even affair where CHEYS ANGEL (2) looks set to make full use of the favourable draw and attempt to find the pegs early. She loomed as the winner in a fast mile-rate race last start. A repeat of that effort would make her very hard to beat but does step out to the middle trip here. VICTORY GEORGE (3) has drawn his best barrier since arriving in Tasmania and gets a great opportunity to improve. SWEET DIXIE (5) resumes from a short break and may be driven aggressively in an attempt to find the front, which would give her the best chance of bouncing back. IDEN OLIVER (8) was crossed from the pole last start before struggling for clear running and flashing home late for third. With even a touch of luck in transit, he looks capable of figuring in the finish. EYE SEE AMOUR (6) has been hit and miss since arriving in Tasmania but clearly possesses the ability to storm home strongly if he produces his best. KNOCK OUT (7) has drawn awkwardly and has been well supported in most of his starts since joining the McKenzie stable.
