A near full field assembles for the three-year-old race of the night and it has plenty of depth, with several runners bringing strong mainland form. BANJO STAR (7) was an easy winner first up in the state a week ago, finding the front with ease before dashing home quickly to score at very short odds. ZIHUATANEJO (1) was a very impressive winner first up at Bendigo, sitting wide the last lap in a slick last half. The pole draw is a slight query with some handy gate speed drawn outside him, but if he can kick through and hold the front, he will take a power of beating. AFFAMATO (11) has spent most of his career taking on older horses and has mixed his form at times, but his win three starts ago would see him right in the finish here, particularly if there is pressure applied early. JILLSTIGER (5) and DAISYPEA (8) are the two fillies in the race and both showed plenty of promise as two-year-olds with wins and placings. They can be in the finish with the right runs. BANJO STAR (7) was an easy winner first up in the state a week ago, finding the front with ease before dashing home quickly to score at very short odds. ZIHUATANEJO (1) was a very impressive winner first up at Bendigo, sitting wide the last lap in a slick last half. The pole draw is a slight query with some handy gate speed drawn outside him, but if he can kick through and hold the front, he will take a power of beating. AFFAMATO (11) has spent most of his career taking on older horses and has mixed his form at times, but his win three starts ago would see him right in the finish here, particularly if there is pressure applied early. A near full field assembles for the three-year-old race of the night and it has plenty of depth, with several runners bringing strong mainland form. BANJO STAR (7) was an easy winner first up in the state a week ago, finding the front with ease before dashing home quickly to score at very short odds. ZIHUATANEJO (1) was a very impressive winner first up at Bendigo, sitting wide the last lap in a slick last half. The pole draw is a slight query with some handy gate speed drawn outside him, but if he can kick through and hold the front, he will take a power of beating. AFFAMATO (11) has spent most of his career taking on older horses and has mixed his form at times, but his win three starts ago would see him right in the finish here, particularly if there is pressure applied early. JILLSTIGER (5) and DAISYPEA (8) are the two fillies in the race and both showed plenty of promise as two-year-olds with wins and placings. They can be in the finish with the right runs.
