Race comment
There looks to be plenty of gate speed across the front row over the mile, even after LORD JAYDO (9) was pushed to ODM after initially drawing barrier one when fields were released. WEE GEORGIE WOOD (7) now finds himself on the front row, which may actually suit him, allowing him to use his sharp gate speed and roll forward, similar to last start when he was an impressive winner in fast time from a wide draw. QUALIFY (8) will require some luck from the draw, but he was not far away in two-year-old feature races last season and this assignment appears easier than the company he has been meeting recently. HIGH BELIEVER (5) is another handy three-year-old who would appreciate genuine tempo throughout, allowing him to finish off strongly from his awkward draw. IMA LITTLE NEEDY (2) showed good potential early in his career and resumes after two trials, with the favourable front row draw giving him every opportunity. There looks to be plenty of gate speed across the front row over the mile, even after LORD JAYDO (9) was pushed to ODM after initially drawing barrier one when fields were released. WEE GEORGIE WOOD (7) now finds himself on the front row, which may actually suit him, allowing him to use his sharp gate speed and roll forward, similar to last start when he was an impressive winner in fast time from a wide draw. QUALIFY (8) will require some luck from the draw, but he was not far away in two-year-old feature races last season and this assignment appears easier than the company he has been meeting recently. Race comment
There looks to be plenty of gate speed across the front row over the mile, even after LORD JAYDO (9) was pushed to ODM after initially drawing barrier one when fields were released. WEE GEORGIE WOOD (7) now finds himself on the front row, which may actually suit him, allowing him to use his sharp gate speed and roll forward, similar to last start when he was an impressive winner in fast time from a wide draw. QUALIFY (8) will require some luck from the draw, but he was not far away in two-year-old feature races last season and this assignment appears easier than the company he has been meeting recently. HIGH BELIEVER (5) is another handy three-year-old who would appreciate genuine tempo throughout, allowing him to finish off strongly from his awkward draw. IMA LITTLE NEEDY (2) showed good potential early in his career and resumes after two trials, with the favourable front row draw giving him every opportunity.
