RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: KAMARAN (8) is trotting in career best form and is strong enough to overcome the handicap of 20m. He endured a wide trip when third at Terang then backed up at Ballarat on Thursday night with an even wider trip after he raced out three horses wide for the entire event. SISTER MOLLY (7) defeated the easier Maiden class at her debut then followed with a fifth at Terang, where she was looming as a strong winning chance again but broke stride with 300m remaining. She has ability and is worth following. LAIN (6) is a former Queensland trotter, which joins trainer Matthew Craven. He has been beaten by a long margin in two recent trial performances but she was a winner at Albion Park on March 27 so he must be kept safe. MATTYO (3) broke stride at the start and picked up a lot of ground when fourth at Mount Gambier last week. He should be fitter from that run and is a minor place chance.
