RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: I AM THE STORM (4) has been lightly raced but he is very smart when at his peak. He only had four starts last season, which yielded two victories, a second in a heat of the New South Wales Derby and a ninth in the Group 1 Final. He will be fitter after three recent trial performances, the latest being a second behind Cardigan Dan, and he should prove hard to beat. KEAYANG SWEETHEART (6) led throughout and recorded a blistering mile rate of 1.51.9 when she scored at Bendigo then circled around the field to park without cover from the 700m when a brave third behind the in-form pacer The Art Of Success at her latest attempt. She is building up a strong record and must be respected. KEAYANG PAYTON (5) pushed forward to find the lead and scored comfortably at Mount Gambier then competed at Metropolitan level last time out. She is a strong mare and is not without a chance. The Aaron Dunn trained pair EYENEEDTHAT (1) and SCOOTER LOU (3) are both strong types that are capable of showing up in a quality race.
