RACE COMMENT
Despite a second line gate, this looks the ideal set up for TEACHERS PET (8) to secure a 36th career victory. Chasing home in Tuesday company behind BRACKEN WARRIOR last start, she was midfield from a wide gate the start prior behind ROYAL PRINCESS. In a race with the main players all looking to draw wide, she can get off the fence and trail through to capitalise. AUNTY FRANCES (7) can boast a last start Redcliffe victory where she was sent forward to sit parked and despite a tough trip outside the speed was able to prevail over the latter stages to scire. Runner-up four starts back, her record here at The Creek is not inspired reading and although she draws poorly, she is not without hope. PINK RIVER DIAMOND (5) faced barrier three last start but was never a factor early and eased for position. With no run on over the middle trip in that, back to the sprint in this line up helps.
