Fading in the closing stages after the tough trip it followed a similarly torrid run from gate 7 at the mile as CHEERSTOLOU carved out a 48.9 mile from the front. He looks better suited under the conditions on offer here. RAKASANDY (4) fought on nicely in the closing stages last start to grab the bronze behind RUBY RULES in slick time at the mile. Placed in three of his four appearances since winning midweek at the mile, he is a podium hope.
