RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: DEUCE COUPE (6) is poorly drawn over the sprint distance but he ran a really nice race at long odds when fourth behind Hot Deal in a harder event last week so he appears to be a value chance. ALWAYS THE SHOWMAN (8) was confidently supported and set up a genuine tempo in the leading role when a game second behind the smart pacer My Ultimate Jimmy at Mildura last outing. He is awkwardly drawn but he should be hitting the line strongly. UBETTA KNOT (5) is a fast beginner and should be reaching her peak form after having two starts back from a break so she can improve on her numerical form. FERRIGNO (9) was a winner at Cranbourne four starts ago and copped plenty of pressure in the leading role when fourth at Geelong last outing.
