RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: DEUCE COUPE (6) is poorly drawn over the sprint distance but he ran a really nice race at long odds when fourth behind Hot Deal in a harder event last week so he appears to be a value chance. ALWAYS THE SHOWMAN (8) was confidently supported and set up a genuine tempo in the leading role when a game second behind the smart pacer My Ultimate Jimmy at Mildura last outing. He is awkwardly drawn but he should be hitting the line strongly. UBETTA KNOT (5) is a fast beginner and should be reaching her peak form after having two starts back from a break so she can improve on her numerical form. FERRIGNO (9) was a winner at Cranbourne four starts ago and copped plenty of pressure in the leading role when fourth at Geelong last outing. He has claims along with LEAVEMEOUT (10), which is resuming since a second at Coolamon in April. EARLY SPEED: 5 (possible leader), 2,7 RATINGS: 6,8/ 5/ 9/ 10/ 1
