WELL SAID NUGGET (9) made the most of the gate to dictate here three starts back over the mile and from the front held on for a narrow margin in PB time. Runner-up at Redcliffe at his next appearance, this looks an open contest and with the right cart into it can stake claim. LITTLE SURFER GIRL (8) has won two of her past three starts, the latest when finding the front at this trip last time out and taking a 3m margin. A passing lane winner at the mile three starts back, she is at risk of being buried from this gate but just needs space to challenge. IM BUSTED (5) eased from the wide gate here two starts back and was chasing home in good order behind WICKED BEAUTY. The rise to 2138 against older horses is a query. ABSOLUTELY STOKED (2) faced a wide gate last start when retreating before closing strongly for the silver behind IDEAL DESIRE. Settling closer from the improved gate is a boost.
