OVERVIEW: HIGH FLUX (5) settled three back on the outside and came out three horses wide from the 600m when third (1.5m) as the favourite at Echuca last outing and is nearing a win against this class. JOEYS HANGOVER (3) trailed the leader Bella Bronski and couldn’t peg back the margin in the straight when second at Charlton. It was a really slow tempo early (66.9 first half!) and a dash up the straight so his effort was sound and he looms as one of the leading chances again. AMBER ALERT (1) was able to fill a place at Cobram last week after a lovely drive to angle in behind the leader from an awkward draw. She is drawn to receive a similar trail mid-race and is worth thought along with ANOTHER SPARKY (4) and CRYSTAL FLAME (6). OVERVIEW: HIGH FLUX (5) settled three back on the outside and came out three horses wide from the 600m when third (1.5m) as the favourite at Echuca last outing and is nearing a win against this class. JOEYS HANGOVER (3) trailed the leader Bella Bronski and couldn’t peg back the margin in the straight when second at Charlton. It was a really slow tempo early (66.9 first half!) and a dash up the straight so his effort was sound and he looms as one of the leading chances again. OVERVIEW: HIGH FLUX (5) settled three back on the outside and came out three horses wide from the 600m when third (1.5m) as the favourite at Echuca last outing and is nearing a win against this class. JOEYS HANGOVER (3) trailed the leader Bella Bronski and couldn’t peg back the margin in the straight when second at Charlton. It was a really slow tempo early (66.9 first half!) and a dash up the straight so his effort was sound and he looms as one of the leading chances again. AMBER ALERT (1) was able to fill a place at Cobram last week after a lovely drive to angle in behind the leader from an awkward draw. She is drawn to receive a similar trail mid-race and is worth thought along with ANOTHER SPARKY (4) and CRYSTAL FLAME (6).
