OVERVIEW: MATACEY MAC (1) is a promising maiden and gets her chance to break through for a win. She finished off nicely for third in a scintillating mile rate of 1.52.1 at Bendigo last week and will appreciate a big drop back in class for this assignment. BUZZ LIKA BEE (3) finished seventh in the same race but he began slowly from the pole position and moved into the running lane mid-race. He was performing very nicely at the trials prior and this race is much easier so a bold showing is expected. COCOROCKS (8) was unplaced in the Homegrown Classic last outing after a heat fourth. She has the perfect trailing draw behind MATACEY MAC (1) so she should receive every chance. RUN FOR STIKKA (6) has improved with every start and is a minor place chance again. He met a smart filly in Bonnie Belle when a distant second at Warragul after finishing reasonably well at Kilmore. She finished off nicely for third in a scintillating mile rate of 1.52.1 at Bendigo last week and will appreciate a big drop back in class for this assignment. BUZZ LIKA BEE (3) finished seventh in the same race but he began slowly from the pole position and moved into the running lane mid-race. He was performing very nicely at the trials prior and this race is much easier so a bold showing is expected. COCOROCKS (8) was unplaced in the Homegrown Classic last outing after a heat fourth. She has the perfect trailing draw behind MATACEY MAC (1) so she should receive every chance. RUN FOR STIKKA (6) has improved with every start and is a minor place chance again. He met a smart filly in Bonnie Belle when a distant second at Warragul after finishing reasonably well at Kilmore.
