OVERVIEW: POLLY PEACHUM (2) began quickly and ended up being behind the leader when third behind Rocknroll Cruiser in a stronger race at Bendigo last outing. She led in successive wins back in February/ March and is a good chance of leading throughout under these conditions if she can hold out REALY UNDER FIRE (5) around the first corner. CRACKED PEPPER (3) has struck form having won two of her past three starts. She trailed the leader from the inside of the second line and was able to get up on the line in a handy mile rate of 1.58.5 at Echuca so she is worth thought again. SASSCILIAN (8) may be shuffled back on the markers from the inside of the second line but he is racing in great form having won two of his three starts, the latest being a comfortable all of the way win at Maryborough. FLAMING LUCKY (7) is poorly drawn first up but was beaten narrowly by the smart 3yo Ultimate Vinnie in fast time at a recent Ararat trial performance so he cannot be underestimated. OVERVIEW: POLLY PEACHUM (2) began quickly and ended up being behind the leader when third behind Rocknroll Cruiser in a stronger race at Bendigo last outing. She led in successive wins back in February/ March and is a good chance of leading throughout under these conditions if she can hold out REALY UNDER FIRE (5) around the first corner. CRACKED PEPPER (3) has struck form having won two of her past three starts. She trailed the leader from the inside of the second line and was able to get up on the line in a handy mile rate of 1.58.5 at Echuca so she is worth thought again. SASSCILIAN (8) may be shuffled back on the markers from the inside of the second line but he is racing in great form having won two of his three starts, the latest being a comfortable all of the way win at Maryborough. FLAMING LUCKY (7) is poorly drawn first up but was beaten narrowly by the smart 3yo Ultimate Vinnie in fast time at a recent Ararat trial performance so he cannot be underestimated.
