He worked hard to find the lead and finished second behind Beneath The Shadow at Ballarat last outing so he is capable of going one better here. KISSMELVIS (8) has been safely held at his two starts since an impressive victory at Shepparton in February but he appears to be well placed with the aid of a concern claim and has the perfect trailing draw behind MUSCLE UP MAJOR (1) so he appears to be a value hope. FRANKIE (10) has been racing well at Metropolitan level at Melton so he will appreciate a big drop back in class for this assignment. He ran a game race for third behind Explicit Castle two starts ago and his last run outside of Melton yielded a victory at Cobram so he must be included amongst the leading chances.
