OVERVIEW: HEAVEN IN LOCKSLEY (6) is poorly drawn but he put in a massive performance to finish second behind Honolua Bay at Melton last outing, where he endured a tough run so he appears to be ready to break back into the winning list. MAJOR DELICO (10) was having his first run in nearly eight weeks when second at Melton where he tried to lead throughout. He should be fitter from that run and looms as one of the leading chances. THE DUDE (1) finished off nicely for third behind Can’t Top This at Melton last outing and is drawn to give a forward showing. CASTLE RETREAT (8) will be relying on THE DUDE (1) holding a forward position at the start but he possesses a powerful finishing burst and should be competitive against this line up. LET’S MAKE TRACKS (4) is facing a steep rise in class but he is very strong and has come back to racing in good form.
