OVERVIEW: As a form analyst you look at a six-horse contest for 3YO fillies and immediately conclude how easy it will be. In this case, as in many cases, nothing could be further from the truth. First of all – and yes it’s been written here a few times recently- any of them can win; and most of them have raced one another in recent times. One horse without the natural references however is STAR OF TIMPANY (4). At her first Aussie start this girl produced something terrific in a heat of the Crown and after making an early mistake first-up she can atone tonight. If you trust in the form references bleeding through this race’s remaining runners then ALIENS EXIST (6) and LOPEZ (1) just outshine the rest. ALIENS EXIST (6) parked out in fast time and crushed ORCHID STRIDE (5) last start, who herself beat almost every other runner at her previous outing. LOPEZ (1) looked like a pretty serious horse coming from last to win another key from race at Kilmore late last month.
