TYPHOON STRIDE (1) overcame a wide run to win the Rising Stars then attempted to lead throughout when narrowly defeated at Melton last week. He is drawn to obtain a forward position again and he should make his presence felt. JILLIBY LORENZO (8) was driven aggressively and ran a big race for second in the Rising Stars Final. He has the perfect trailing draw behind TYPHOON STRIDE (1) so he looms as a strong winning chance. STEEL SCREENS (3) finished strongly for second behind Major Manbar in a slick mile rate of 1.53.3 at Melton last outing. He is an underrated pacer and is worth a ticket each way. OVERVIEW: HONOLUA BAY (2) contested the 4yo Bonanza at Melton last outing so he is likely to find this assignment to be much easier. He blasted home his final 400m in a slick 26.4 seconds when he scored by a large margin at Melton prior and he is drawn to go close. TYPHOON STRIDE (1) overcame a wide run to win the Rising Stars then attempted to lead throughout when narrowly defeated at Melton last week. He is drawn to obtain a forward position again and he should make his presence felt. JILLIBY LORENZO (8) was driven aggressively and ran a big race for second in the Rising Stars Final. He has the perfect trailing draw behind TYPHOON STRIDE (1) so he looms as a strong winning chance. STEEL SCREENS (3) finished strongly for second behind Major Manbar in a slick mile rate of 1.53.3 at Melton last outing. He is an underrated pacer and is worth a ticket each way. PUNTARNO STRIDE (9) may end up being three back on the markers from his trailing draw and should be finishing off well at the end so he is worth thought in multiple combinations.
