OVERVIEW: FIFTYSHADESOFHAY (7) is a classy mare and is capable of overcoming the outside of the front line. She came out three horses wide from midfield when third behind Silent Rapture in a heat of the Provincial Cup last outing and is likely to find this to be an easier assignment MAJOR WATSON (8) raced without cover throughout when he scored nicely at Maryborough on January 04. He galloped away at his latest ninth and is worth another chance under these conditions. OUR SIR OLIVER (6) trailed the leader and used the sprint lane last outing but he met handy opposition and he did finish a close second in a mile rate of 1.56.2. He gets into this race with the aid of a concession claim and is not without a chance. LETS WENT (1) hasn’t been at his best form recently but he had little luck last time and he does appear to be very well graded in this event. Race comment
OVERVIEW: FIFTYSHADESOFHAY (7) is a classy mare and is capable of overcoming the outside of the front line. She came out three horses wide from midfield when third behind Silent Rapture in a heat of the Provincial Cup last outing and is likely to find this to be an easier assignment MAJOR WATSON (8) raced without cover throughout when he scored nicely at Maryborough on January 04. He galloped away at his latest ninth and is worth another chance under these conditions. OUR SIR OLIVER (6) trailed the leader and used the sprint lane last outing but he met handy opposition and he did finish a close second in a mile rate of 1.56.2. He gets into this race with the aid of a concession claim and is not without a chance. LETS WENT (1) hasn’t been at his best form recently but he had little luck last time and he does appear to be very well graded in this event.
