OVERVIEW: MAJOR ASSASSIN (5) is racing consistently and deserves to break through for a win. He began quickly to race without cover and fought hard for second behind Minuscule at Bendigo last week. CHANGE THE PRINT (8) was heavily supported and led throughout in a fast mile rate of 1.53.2 at Ballarat last outing. It is a different scenario here as he is drawn behind a moderate beginner in OUR DOREEN DAYS (1) and IMTHE GOLDEN CHILD (2) can be risky at the start in barrier two, so he is going to need some luck in the early stages. ARTS DASH (7) was shuffled back on the markers from the inside of the second line and finished strongly when a game third behind CHANGE THE PRINT (8) last week. The barrier draw is a disadvantage but he is capable of turning the tables. JILLIBY LORENZO (6) was resuming since January when a pleasing third behind The Crimson Prince in a claiming event last week, where he hit the line strongly. He should be fitter for the run and is worth thought along with BONUS PLAY (3), which has trialled nicely leading up to his resumption, and also THE DUDE (4). OVERVIEW: MAJOR ASSASSIN (5) is racing consistently and deserves to break through for a win. He began quickly to race without cover and fought hard for second behind Minuscule at Bendigo last week. CHANGE THE PRINT (8) was heavily supported and led throughout in a fast mile rate of 1.53.2 at Ballarat last outing. It is a different scenario here as he is drawn behind a moderate beginner in OUR DOREEN DAYS (1) and IMTHE GOLDEN CHILD (2) can be risky at the start in barrier two, so he is going to need some luck in the early stages. ARTS DASH (7) was shuffled back on the markers from the inside of the second line and finished strongly when a game third behind CHANGE THE PRINT (8) last week. Race comment
OVERVIEW: MAJOR ASSASSIN (5) is racing consistently and deserves to break through for a win. He began quickly to race without cover and fought hard for second behind Minuscule at Bendigo last week. CHANGE THE PRINT (8) was heavily supported and led throughout in a fast mile rate of 1.53.2 at Ballarat last outing. It is a different scenario here as he is drawn behind a moderate beginner in OUR DOREEN DAYS (1) and IMTHE GOLDEN CHILD (2) can be risky at the start in barrier two, so he is going to need some luck in the early stages. ARTS DASH (7) was shuffled back on the markers from the inside of the second line and finished strongly when a game third behind CHANGE THE PRINT (8) last week. The barrier draw is a disadvantage but he is capable of turning the tables. JILLIBY LORENZO (6) was resuming since January when a pleasing third behind The Crimson Prince in a claiming event last week, where he hit the line strongly. He should be fitter for the run and is worth thought along with BONUS PLAY (3), which has trialled nicely leading up to his resumption, and also THE DUDE (4).
