OVERVIEW: The classy filly KEAYANG JACKIE (4) is a good chance of beating the colts and geldings from her good draw. She led out, took a trail and scored in a sizzling mile rate of 1.52.7 prior to a game fifth in the Caduceus Club Cup then followed with a strong victory in the Cinderella Stakes (1.53.8) last week. PERFECT STRIDE (11) settled four back on the inside, was held up for a run at a vital stage, angled around carts in the home straight and finished strongly when an unlucky sixth (9m) in the Breeders Crown. He has had a good season with second placed efforts in the NSW Derby and in the Gold Chalice with a third in the Victoria Derby so he must be respected. BOOTS ELECTRIC (10) settled midfield and sustained a strong run out three horses wide when he scored at Yarra Valley. It was a narrow victory but he appeared to have plenty in reserve and he is capable of being competitive at this level. The New South Wales trained filly SILENT RAPTURE (2) is undefeated in four starts since coming from New Zealand but this is her toughest test. She will receive every chance from the perfect draw and MOTU TIGERS EYE (8) is an underrated type, which could run a race at longer odds. OVERVIEW: The classy filly KEAYANG JACKIE (4) is a good chance of beating the colts and geldings from her good draw. She led out, took a trail and scored in a sizzling mile rate of 1.52.7 prior to a game fifth in the Caduceus Club Cup then followed with a strong victory in the Cinderella Stakes (1.53.8) last week. PERFECT STRIDE (11) settled four back on the inside, was held up for a run at a vital stage, angled around carts in the home straight and finished strongly when an unlucky sixth (9m) in the Breeders Crown. He has had a good season with second placed efforts in the NSW Derby and in the Gold Chalice with a third in the Victoria Derby so he must be respected. BOOTS ELECTRIC (10) settled midfield and sustained a strong run out three horses wide when he scored at Yarra Valley. It was a narrow victory but he appeared to have plenty in reserve and he is capable of being competitive at this level. The New South Wales trained filly SILENT RAPTURE (2) is undefeated in four starts since coming from New Zealand but this is her toughest test. She will receive every chance from the perfect draw and MOTU TIGERS EYE (8) is an underrated type, which could run a race at longer odds. OVERVIEW: The classy filly KEAYANG JACKIE (4) is a good chance of beating the colts and geldings from her good draw. She led out, took a trail and scored in a sizzling mile rate of 1.52.7 prior to a game fifth in the Caduceus Club Cup then followed with a strong victory in the Cinderella Stakes (1.53.8) last week. PERFECT STRIDE (11) settled four back on the inside, was held up for a run at a vital stage, angled around carts in the home straight and finished strongly when an unlucky sixth (9m) in the Breeders Crown. He has had a good season with second placed efforts in the NSW Derby and in the Gold Chalice with a third in the Victoria Derby so he must be respected. BOOTS ELECTRIC (10) settled midfield and sustained a strong run out three horses wide when he scored at Yarra Valley. It was a narrow victory but he appeared to have plenty in reserve and he is capable of being competitive at this level. The New South Wales trained filly SILENT RAPTURE (2) is undefeated in four starts since coming from New Zealand but this is her toughest test. She will receive every chance from the perfect draw and MOTU TIGERS EYE (8) is an underrated type, which could run a race at longer odds.
