OVERVIEW: MAJOR MEISTER (11) has been brilliant since coming from New Zealand having won at his first four attempts, including a victory in the Graduate. He sustained a flat tyre and had to be retired out of the event in a heat of the Super Series last time. He is poorly drawn but he is very versatile and is capable of bouncing back into the winning list. ROCKNROLL NOAH (2) is racing at his peak form and moved up without cover from the 1200m when a strong second behind Delightful Mia at Maryborough on Monday. He is drawn to run another good race. VALIENTE (1) was hitting the line strongly in a heat of the Gordon Rothacker Memorial last week and is a value hope from the pole position. The David Miles trained pair SIX ELEMENTS (3) and PUNTARNO STRIDE (10) are both racing well enough to figure in the finish. SIX ELEMENTS (3) pushed forward to race without cover when third in the Cinderella Stakes last outing and PUNARNO STRIDE (10) endured a similar hard run at his third behind Zadaka. MONGIANA (7) disappointed at his latest Melton performance but he bounced back with a game second (head) at Yarra Valley. He sustained a flat tyre and had to be retired out of the event in a heat of the Super Series last time. He is poorly drawn but he is very versatile and is capable of bouncing back into the winning list. ROCKNROLL NOAH (2) is racing at his peak form and moved up without cover from the 1200m when a strong second behind Delightful Mia at Maryborough on Monday. He is drawn to run another good race. VALIENTE (1) was hitting the line strongly in a heat of the Gordon Rothacker Memorial last week and is a value hope from the pole position. The David Miles trained pair SIX ELEMENTS (3) and PUNTARNO STRIDE (10) are both racing well enough to figure in the finish. Race comment
OVERVIEW: MAJOR MEISTER (11) has been brilliant since coming from New Zealand having won at his first four attempts, including a victory in the Graduate. He sustained a flat tyre and had to be retired out of the event in a heat of the Super Series last time. He is poorly drawn but he is very versatile and is capable of bouncing back into the winning list. ROCKNROLL NOAH (2) is racing at his peak form and moved up without cover from the 1200m when a strong second behind Delightful Mia at Maryborough on Monday. He is drawn to run another good race. VALIENTE (1) was hitting the line strongly in a heat of the Gordon Rothacker Memorial last week and is a value hope from the pole position. The David Miles trained pair SIX ELEMENTS (3) and PUNTARNO STRIDE (10) are both racing well enough to figure in the finish. SIX ELEMENTS (3) pushed forward to race without cover when third in the Cinderella Stakes last outing and PUNARNO STRIDE (10) endured a similar hard run at his third behind Zadaka. MONGIANA (7) disappointed at his latest Melton performance but he bounced back with a game second (head) at Yarra Valley.
