OVERVIEW: MELINKA (1) dropped back to last from a wide draw, was very wide on the home turn and finished off quickly when second behind Sassyfeet at Shepparton last outing. She was forced to do some work early at her two unplaced runs prior and she appears to be hard to beat from the pole position. BETTATHANAPOKEINDEYE (7) is a New South Wales trained mare, which missed out narrowly at Wagga on December 02. She led and won at Albury four starts back so she is capable of giving a forward showing. She worked to the line quite well from a poor draw at Cobram on Thursday. OCEANIQUE (9) struck trouble at Charlton last time and is worth another chance. He should gain a lovely trail behind MELINKA (1) now that Elita has been withdrawn. DANCE TO THE STARS (10) is poorly drawn but is racing consistently and should be working home well. BLISSFULL DONNA (6) didn’t have a great deal of luck at Cobram and is worth another chance. EARLY SPEED: 1 (possible leader), 2,4,6,7 RATINGS: 1/ 7/ 9,10/ 6/ 3,4

She was forced to do some work early at her two unplaced runs prior and she appears to be hard to beat from the pole position. OVERVIEW: MELINKA (1) dropped back to last from a wide draw, was very wide on the home turn and finished off quickly when second behind Sassyfeet at Shepparton last outing. She was forced to do some work early at her two unplaced runs prior and she appears to be hard to beat from the pole position. BETTATHANAPOKEINDEYE (7) is a New South Wales trained mare, which missed out narrowly at Wagga on December 02. She led and won at Albury four starts back so she is capable of giving a forward showing. She worked to the line quite well from a poor draw at Cobram on Thursday. OCEANIQUE (9) struck trouble at Charlton last time and is worth another chance. He should gain a lovely trail behind MELINKA (1) now that Elita has been withdrawn. DANCE TO THE STARS (10) is poorly drawn but is racing consistently and should be working home well. BLISSFULL DONNA (6) didn’t have a great deal of luck at Cobram and is worth another chance.
