OVERVIEW: MARIANNA BROMAC (6) has done well since coming from New Zealand with two wins and a third from three attempts. She came out three horses wide from midfield at the 700m mark and jogged home to win with ease last week so she should prove hard to beat again. RECKON IM SMART (5) gained a one out and one back trail and had his chance last outing but the winner Honolua Bay is very smart and the mile rate was a fast 1.53.6. He raced without cover to win at Cobram prior and he gets into this race nicely with a concession claim so he is worth another chance. MODERN BLISS (8) was restrained at the start, circled around the field to death seat mid-race then gained a one out and one back trail when he got up to win at Cranbourne seven days ago. That was his first win in over four years and he is awkwardly drawn for this assignment but he is racing in good form. FANTASY BEACH (1) is likely to be headed off at the start by ROSLYN GAYE (4) but he ran a nice race for second at Echuca three starts back and is a place chance at longer odds. OVERVIEW: MARIANNA BROMAC (6) has done well since coming from New Zealand with two wins and a third from three attempts. She came out three horses wide from midfield at the 700m mark and jogged home to win with ease last week so she should prove hard to beat again. RECKON IM SMART (5) gained a one out and one back trail and had his chance last outing but the winner Honolua Bay is very smart and the mile rate was a fast 1.53.6. He raced without cover to win at Cobram prior and he gets into this race nicely with a concession claim so he is worth another chance. MODERN BLISS (8) was restrained at the start, circled around the field to death seat mid-race then gained a one out and one back trail when he got up to win at Cranbourne seven days ago. That was his first win in over four years and he is awkwardly drawn for this assignment but he is racing in good form. FANTASY BEACH (1) is likely to be headed off at the start by ROSLYN GAYE (4) but he ran a nice race for second at Echuca three starts back and is a place chance at longer odds.
