Menangle R7 PEPSI MAX PACE

Race comment

Tired over the latter stages when 38m 8th $2.60 (Fr1) Laceys Lad NZ Newcastle 1609m (1:54.7) R6572 race Feb 1 then failed to get a clear run when 5m 6th $2.90 (Sr1) Gracie Taljuice Bathurst 1730m (1:55.0) R6266 race Mar 18. Had genuine excuses past couple and not out of it on solid previous form.

Race comment

Won $3.10 (Fr8) narrowly defeating Superbass NZ 0.4m Menangle 1609m (1:52.0) R5477 race Mar 10 then safely held when 4.2m 2nd $2.70 (Fr6) Superbass NZ Menangle 1609m (1:51.7) R5676 race Mar 17. A winner at this course and distance two back and solid second last start; even fitter now.

Race comment

Won $2.50 (Fr3) narrowly defeating Bonacci 1m Newcastle 1609m (1:56.0) R5565 race Feb 21 then fought on well defeating Always A Stride 0.4m $4.20 (Fr6) Penrith 2125m (2:00.1) R5668 race Mar 12. Winner at both starts since resuming and has won 3rd-up in an earlier preparation; respect.

Good effort when 0.4m 2nd $9.00 (Fr10) Lets Go To Brazil Menangle 1609m (1:52.0) R5477 race Mar 10 then scored handily defeating Lets Go To Brazil 4.2m $3.50 (Fr8) Menangle 1609m (1:51.7) R5676 race Mar 17. Racing consistently and strong contender again despite the awkward draw.

Race comment

Was a handy winner $2.00 (Sr2) over Nobbys Clock 3.5m Wagga Paceway 1740m (1:55.8) R5666 race Feb 25 then out of position at the start and broke during running when 19.2m 8th $16 (Fr4) Superbass NZ Menangle 1609m (1:51.7) R5676 race Mar 17. Mixing form and need to treat warily.
