Safely held when 10.7m 7th $19 (Sr2) Gotta Be Downtown NZ Penrith 2125m (1:58.0) R7391 race Mar 12 then fought on well defeating Star Writer 0.4m $4.60 (Fr4) Penrith 2125m (1:57.9) C5690 race Mar 19. Should not be taken lightly on latest effort.

Race comment

Raced roughly and covered extra ground when 1.5m 3rd $8.00 (Fr8) Untitled Menangle 1609m (1:54.7) C6990 race Mar 10 then eased early when 8m 5th $8.50 (Fr8) Untitled Menangle 2300m (1:56.5) C7486 race Mar 17. Warrants some thought on close third two back.

Race comment

Back from a spell. Failed to get a clear run when 10m 7th $5.00 (Fr1) Forever Texas Menangle 1609m (1:53.0) C6694 race Oct 29 then ran 36m 9th $26 (Fr1) Controversial NZ Menangle 2300m (1:54.8) C7892 race Nov 12. Resuming here but goes well first-up has won from this draw previously.

Held on well when 7.2m 4th $8.50 (Fr5) Untitled Menangle 1609m (1:54.7) C6990 race Mar 10 then raced well when 5.5m 3rd $8.50 (Fr4) Untitled Menangle 2300m (1:56.5) C7486 race Mar 17. Third-up and has won 3rd-up before.

Race comment

Raced well to place 1.7m 2nd $11 (Fr8) Magic Oats NZ Menangle 1609m (1:53.9) C6990 race Mar 3 then fought on very well to place 0.5m 2nd $3.80 (Fr9) Untitled Menangle 1609m (1:54.7) C6990 race Mar 10. Not beaten far last start at this course and distance and has the gate speed to overcome the wide draw.

Race comment
