Ran 18m 8th $8.00 (Sr2) Im Compliant NZ Newcastle 2030m (1:57.0) R8299 race Mar 6 then finished 22.5m 3rd $14 (Fr7) Pitch Perfect NZ Newcastle 2030m (1:56.3) R7398 race Mar 21. Handy run when 3rd at last star and fitter now; has performed well at this stage in previous campaigns and could do so again.

Race comment

Back from a spell. Convincing win over Lani Kai Beach 11.2m $2.20 (Fr8) Menangle 1609m (1:53.4) R5588 race Jul 27 then beaten 42m 7th $12 (Fr3) Magical Marn NZ Swan Hill 2240m (1:57.9) R82107 race Aug 21. Coming off a break and is capable fresh; has the gate speed to race on pace but might need to do a bit of work early from this draw.

Race comment

Sound effort when 11.5m 5th (30m) Heisenberg NZ Ashburton 3200m (2:01.4) R6488 race Dec 24 then pulled hard and covered extra ground when 31m 9th $4.80 (Fr6) Pat Stanley NZ Tabcorp Park 2240m (1:55.2) R81108 race Mar 7. Did not do much first up but proven second up.

Race comment

Was a handy winner $11 (Sr5) over Sole Ambition NZ 3.2m Albion Park 2138m (1:53.6) R86118 race Feb 29 then looked good defeating Corporal Luna 4.5m $1.20 (Sr2) Armidale 2360m (2:01.7) R58120 race Mar 15. Has won three of last four runs and suited here; draw not an issue given his racing style.
