RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: JILLIBY SNIPER (4) had little luck from poor barrier draws during the Super Series then followed with a big win at Terang, where he outstayed the handy performer Heavenly Gem. He is building up a handy strike rate and should prove hard to beat again. POSTERIZED (3) has been able to lead throughout in two recent victories and is drawn to lead again so he must be respected. He dashed home in a slick final half of 56.8 seconds when he held off Blazin By at his latest victory. GOLD IN PARIS (9) won three races in succession prior to a second behind King Kasey in fast time at Stawell, where she parked on the outside of the leader throughout. She is racing in career best form and is one of the leading chances again. CALF PEN (1) faces a steep rise in class but he has returned to his peak form and has leading reinsman James Herbertson aboard so he cannot be dismissed. BACK: JILLIBY SNIPER (4) – 2 units (win)
