RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: FORTY LOVE (5) was heavily supported and ran a great race after working forward to find the lead in the early stages when a narrow second behind Fighter Command at Melton last week. He had no luck when sixth in the Super Series Final prior and he should prove very hard to beat under these conditions. OPERATIVE LINE (6) will also appreciate a drop back in class from his efforts at Metropolitan free for all level and should improve on his numerical form. He won the Stampede at Melton back in May. HOT DEAL (7) settled down last in a slowly run race and tried to sustain a long run out wide on the track when a game third behind My Ultimate Jimmy at Mildura on Wednesday. He is a versatile pacer and should run his usual honest race. RUFF NUT (2) and MADRIGAL (3) are both racing well enough to be worth thought in multiple combinations. BACK: FORTY LOVE (5) – 3 units (win)
