RACE COMMENT
A small field from the stand start rounds out the night, with the field made up from the Langley and Yole stables. SAPPHIRE GAMBLER (6) clearly has the best form of late but is the lone 20-metre backmarker here. He is normally a super-sharp beginner, however, so should make up that margin quickly and, with the small field, should be hard to hold out late. REPETITIVE (1) has been racing consistently in these sorts of races of late and will be looking to settle on speed and get his chance to break through for a deserved victory. OLLIES MEDAL (2) clearly has the most class in the field when he brings his best behaviour, so if he is able to get away safely, he looks one of the main chances if he puts his best foot forward. DONE WELL (5) has been okay at her past two starts since resuming and should get the chance to finish on the podium with any improvement.
