RACE COMMENT
A No More Than Two Wins event for the three-year-olds, where SUMTHIN ELSE (6) is first up in the state for the new stable after being competitive in the Vicbred three-year-old series of late. You would expect that form to hold up well in this type of event and see her right in the finish. IYLAC CHAMBER (7) was terrific at his past two starts before going for a let-up, doing plenty of work in the run and still managing to hold his rivals off. He should continue to improve this preparation after two nice trials ahead of his return here. A ROCKN NIGHTMARE (3) ran well first up in the state and gets a nice draw to find a prominent position with cover, which should give er every chance. The back-row runners QUALIFY (8) and HIGH BELIEVER (9) have consistently been earning cheques in these grades and should be running home into the money with a nice run in transit. BRIGHTLY BLAZE (5) could be the knockout hope if she can find a nice position in the field with some genuine tempo throughout.
