RACE COMMENT
ONE CHAIN ROAD (1) has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead this race in the early stages. He led two starts ago and was run down late by VICTREE CHARLIE (6) who was able to settle much closer than usual in that race. DIGBY DEVIL (9) looks suited in this race from a draw where he will do no work early. He raced without luck last time out when drawing wide and being shuffled back before making a wide run into it. DEEP REGRET (4) sat without cover and proved too good for Rosie Pollen at this track last time out. He finds a tougher race but is going well and can’t be ruled out. BETTYS GOLD CLASS (8) should get the perfect run through early in this race behind a gate speed horse. She was close up last time out over the less suitable 2138 behind Smirks Lika Boss.
