That was his first outing for eight weeks so he should only be improved and he can take advantage of a lower draw to strike again. NYMBAL (3) was another dominant winner last week, coming from a couple of spots wider to cruise home. He is unbeaten at this distance and from a favourable draw could threaten. Queensland Derby winner PALLADIUM (6) was a class above at this circuit and distance last week, working to the front from a wider barrier and going on to score by more than 10m. That was his first outing for eight weeks so he should only be improved and he can take advantage of a lower draw to strike again. NYMBAL (3) was another dominant winner last week, coming from a couple of spots wider to cruise home. He is unbeaten at this distance and from a favourable draw could threaten. LEXUS LOU (1) was a beaten favourite when third last week but he has the gate speed to take advantage of the inside barrier so can give a sight. VAN BASTEN (9) added to a string of wins and placings when he scored from a similar draw last week. Deserves respect as does last-start runner-up MAURLEN BOY (2) who has put a series of top-four results together, all from wider draws.
