He led and held off ORLANDO VEYRON (4) under minimal driving at the Melton trials recently and looks a really progressive type for Joe Pace. I think he’s pretty handy and I’m happily in his corner. ORLANDO VEYRON (4) had some good battles with REGAL GALA (6) earlier in the season – winning one and finishing runner-up to him twice – and also trialled well for his return, REGAL GALA (6) led and was only run down by the very smart Phoenix Rex last time and is a winning chance, while PASTOR CASH (1) makes his debut after a promising trial effort when second to maiden winner Pleasure To Have at Shepparton. Race comment
OVERVIEW: INSULATOR (3) won on debut in dominant fashion by 16m at Maryborough in March and then made mistakes his next two starts when well fancied in the market. He led and held off ORLANDO VEYRON (4) under minimal driving at the Melton trials recently and looks a really progressive type for Joe Pace. I think he’s pretty handy and I’m happily in his corner. ORLANDO VEYRON (4) had some good battles with REGAL GALA (6) earlier in the season – winning one and finishing runner-up to him twice – and also trialled well for his return, REGAL GALA (6) led and was only run down by the very smart Phoenix Rex last time and is a winning chance, while PASTOR CASH (1) makes his debut after a promising trial effort when second to maiden winner Pleasure To Have at Shepparton.
